The weeks seem to be flying by lately. I am 18 weeks 4 days and we had our level II anatomy ultrasound this week. Everything went perfect. It was about a 30 minute ultrasound....pretty much the best short film I have EVER watched. The tech carefully checked her brain, measured her leg bones, checked kidneys, and all four chambers of her heart. They checked for a clef lip and we were even able to count 5 fingers on her right hand....she was hiding her left hand and was moving around like crazy.
This is her right hand...the thumb is tucked behind.
She is measuring right on track and she is totally healthy. She is up to a whopping 1/2 pound. The doctor said now is when she will starting putting on weight and fill out. I guess that means mama will start putting on weight too. I am only up 5lbs right now.
A few more pictures of our ultrasound....
She was laying on her stomach and wouldn't turn over so we could get a good picture of her profile.
These are her two little feet looking up from the bottom:)
I have become OBSESSED with http://www.etsy.com/ they have the cutest baby stuff. A lot of if is handmade and super affordable. I ordered these precious crocheted hats and they arrived today. I am so excited to see her in these. I am thinking of learning how to crochet in the next few months.
Nick and I also hit up a baby blowout sale on Sunday. We scored some super cute outfits for her and now that the doctor CONFIRMED for the second time it is a girl I am ready to cut off tags:)
This is one of Nicks favorites. If you know him at all....which I am assuming you do since you are following our baby blog...he loves Ralph Lauren Polo so baby girl got her first polo onesie.
And a close up of the polo symbol.....
This is going to be one spoiled little girl and I am totally fine with admitting it :)
